want than musical star Louise Pitre, comedy legend Andrea Martin, This
Hour Has 22 Minutes’ Mary Walsh, Degrassi’s Paula Brancati and cabaret
diva Sharron Matthews gathered together for your entertainment?  Well,
you might wish for a show as willing to challenge as amuse.

Today: local garage-punk combos Teenanger, Anagram, No No Zero and Ancestors literally face off against one another at Four Corners; stoner-rockers Black Mountain expose their Wilderness Heart at the Horseshoe; dancefloor don Diplo tops the bill at the TIME Festival; From the Soul: The Caribana Art Exhibit opens at the ROM; and surreal Japanese cult classic House gets a limited run at the Bloor.

As in Wanted, Angelina Jolie skitters through Salt’s various chase/shoot-out set pieces with aplomb, but she doesn’t exactly engage our sympathies.
